2.0L? I would bet they do.

You could look up the part twice - once for for your car and once for a P5. Compare the p/ns.

I have an 00 LX,the guy that is selling the sensor has a P5,not sure what year.
I imagine the must fit,but i want to make sure before i spend money on that.

Understood.

Do you have the 2.0L engine?
Can you do a web search for the part number?
- Research using your make/model and get a part number.
- Research using my make/model and get a part number. 2002 P5

Are they the same? If so - buy them from the guy.

the 99-00 proteges did not come with the 2.0. The 99-00 came with the 1.6 or 1.8. Being a 00 LX it is a 1.6. They have different O2 Sensors, but I do have both of them that used and working condition.

They will fit, but the wires are too short. They would have to cut and some extra length of wire added in, then wrapped up to protect them from the heat.
