MS6 Engine Noise at Idle

Hey Guys,

I just purchased a 2007 MS6 and I am new to the forums. My car idles good, just below 1K RPMs but from outside the car I can hear the belts running. The sound is hard to explain, but it is not completely quiet like some other cars I have owned. Is this normal?

In my car when the hood is down all I hear is the valve tick / fan (when AC on). If I open the hood I can hear the timing belt going round and roung like a faint faucet thats on.

Other than that no weird sounds. If its bothering your post a vid here and your problem will be sorted out.

the injectors are crazy loud in this car, could that be what you are hearing?

i think the steering pump makes a constant whirr, like when you are turning the wheel but much much quieter
