Good Day all
I have the book and have taken firewall side apart .
Just about the whole dash !!!!(sadbanana)
The air box (with core inside ) is loose BUT WILL NOT COME OUT .
The book stated that ther are 3 nuts I have only found 1
Can anyone tell me what is holding this thing in ???
Thanks
RG
My profile not set up yet .
This is a SOHC no air cond.

Ok I will post pictures when I do the replacement .
There are 3 nuts as the Hanes Manual sates . The other 2 are right at the top of the air box !!! Only way to get at them is remove the dash .
It is not that hard to do however .. The process I went through was way over done , It has 3 studs along the wind sheild . 4 on the steering colum and 2 at each end by the door post then the whole thing tilts forward and you can get at the 2 nuts on the top of the air box
