99 Protege issues..Help please..

Having some troubles with my 99 Protege. can anyone shed some light on this situation?

thats a terrible noise....I would say off the top of my head that you have an obvious starter issue. Could be a bad fly wheel or a bad starter. Also though its sounds like you have the improper cranking amps so on top of the other issues you may need a recharge or just a new batt...hope this helps

I'd say to check your battery also, and maybe alternator, i just replaced mine, i have a 99 too...
