I had the codes checked but forgot to write them down?!
Two of them: 1st is a random misfire code; but plugs and wires are less than 1 year old? Autozone said it could be the coils?
2nd: Faulty tr switch/ Transmission tr switch
The od light blinks on and off until you turn it on and off then it's ok??
Both of these come and go. 1 day on 2 days off etc.
Any suggestions before I go to the neighborhood over -priced garage and/or dealer?

Replace the coils first. Continuing to drive with a mis-fire will ruin the cat$. Very easy job.

Replace the tranny switch. You can probably do it yourself.

Thanks for all your help!
Just to be an idiot I'm guessing it would NOT be wise to replace 1 coil at a time and see if it goes away rather than all 4??

Depends on mileage in my opinion, if you think it failed prematurely. I'd be inclined to replace em both for the peace of mind.

First of all, there are only 2 ignition coils - each one feeds 2 cylinders. And when I replaced my first one that went out, the second one went out 100 miles later and ruined my brand new catalytic converter.

Lesson: replace them both.
