new key advice

I need a second key and FOB for my 2004 Mazda 6 - what is your advice?

I fear I need to go to the dealer because I have just one key, but it would be great to find another solution.

Anyone with advice on where to buy a new key, and/or a FOB and how to program them both would be great.

Places like Lowe's and Home Depot can now make chipped/coded keys, but they aren't cheap. As for the fob, not sure if there's a source other than the dealer.

Fobs can be gotten off eBay. I got a couple for my Ram, but it may be easier to program. You can try a locksmith that sells transponders.
