Really like the TSW wheel for my 08 Mazda 3 sedan (2.0) but as in my last post it is a 17x8. I was searching and I see some people have lowered their cars with 17x8 and even 18x8.
Will 17x8 with 215/45/17's and a 45 offset work and allow me to lower?
My stock tires are shredded I need to get something soon!
Thanks(help)

Stocks are 17s or 16s?

If stock 17's, you're perfect on that set up. Though that tire size (Cross-Section Width) is a right on the edge of being small. But it should work.
If stock 16's, drop will be fine though the rims will push out the fenders a little bit, by .7 inches.

stocks are 16's. Now the lip thing has me going the other direction... thinking 17's for the most part, but if I like a set of 18's that are no too much more $$$ then would get them. Still want to lower at least an inch though.
