2k ES motor size?

helping friend work on new car. no emission sticker under hood. do all ES models come with the 1.8 motor in 2k? been looking over car and don't see any markings. was hoping to find some decal that mentions motor size.

unless its been wrecked and they removed the labels?

can't find any stickers. heard it might have been repaired at one time. does the vin have anything to do with motor info? it was built 06/00.

It's a 1.8L unless the engine was replaced. Post a pic, we can tell the difference from the coil packs.

ya i have checked the sites i was kinda wondering if anyone had one on here that was selling one, but if i cannot have the motor that i want , i guess i will settle for a b20
