Radar, your car is an inspiration man. Absolutely stunning. But I do have one complaint, why in the hell don't you get better pictures to show off that black vinyl roof!?!?! My lawd! That is on my list to get done along with a gloss black shark fin antenna to match. One of my favorite things on my list visual wise. How much did yours cost? I was quoted $275 including installation to do it.

Can you go more in-detail? For $275, i'm sure it's not painted right? I was thinking of doing the same thing but though painting was the only option. Any feedback would be great.

BTW, awesome car. Clean and i love the lip. Good job.

yeah its paint...i did vinyl for the test run (i wasn't happy with the vinyl, even having a friend/pro lay it on, good 3ft bumper view but anything closer you start seeing flaws)...i figured hey lets waist 50 bucs compared to regretting a paint job...then after seeing it on i was sold for the paint...

this weekend i'll get better shots of the roof for you MMBoost ;)

Great man, thanks.

The guy who is doing mine is a professional sign shops that make vinyls that go on the side of buildings and windows at dealerships and everything, he specializes in full body vinyls, so I believe he would be able to make it nice. Its custom order gloss black vinyl thats pretty expensive and higher quality than the typical vinyl, so I think it should turn out fine.

How much did it cost you to paint it?

its not that they can't get it to lay nice...(my guy works at exotic dealerships) and did GST's car http://www.gstmotorsports.com/home/ ...its that vinyl isn't paint so it won't lay perfect no matter how good of labor they are...its vinyl for you...

if i were you i'd go paint...my paint job was $500+ and thats in CA BayArea where things are more expensive...you should be able to find it a lot cheaper than i did...

looking CLEAN trev... any of these burlingame/millbrae/san bruno cops give you trouble? what kind of power mods are you running? i'm from san bruno and i get hassled/tailed by po-po all night long... thats just with tint and leds for appearance mod (soon to be 6k hids + yellow fogs tho :P). definitely want to meet up with you guys sometime..

and thanks for introducing me to elmer trev. he's done quite a bit of work on my car.. he's also gotten promoted since i first met him. nice dude.

thanks man. yeah long time no see in the forums. no issues yet with cops. i've had a few behind me but no issues yet. my neighbor, thank god he likes me and modding cars himself, is a san mateo cop, so i gots love in that city. his wife too. i hope they just run my plates see that i am clean with no priors and leave me be.

yeah elmers super chill. everyone over there are cool cats. very laid back, gotta love that.

um dude we have sunday meets weekly. at A&W in millbrae. around 7-8pm it starts.

i like silver, thats the color of my p5 since even when its dirty it still looks semi clean hehe, but if i got a ms3 i would go with white or black...

thanks man...

i made a template out of foam core for the tmic, had a shop cut one out of aluminum for me, pc'ed it black...then i bought a piece of CF and cut it to the shape i wanted...and then glued down a mazda emblem...and tah dah...

but i redid it, new pics coming soon...

Just wanted to add that your review of your H&R Coilovers has me seriously considering them. I used to be MS/KW all the way, but the progressive spring rate on H&R has made me want them more and more. Still enjoy the ride, despite having the 19's?

well i rode with 19s with just doing the springs, this is when i had the ADR GT's...its a world of difference still between the two types of set ups...

this is what my wife says, "coils and 19s feel way better than springs and 19s. i hated that bounce. the car feels so planted, like my kirby vacuum."
