Please enlighten us as to where this is located on your car, because there are no Proteges that are shipped to the U.S. market that have cabin air filters.

Lol, guys, I believe I should know what it does and does not have... I'm located in Barbados, most of our vehicles are imported from japan, as i've mentioned earlier... my vehicle is the same shape as what you call the "Protege", but its called "Familia"... just like, for instance, the "Mazda 6" is also called the "Mazda Atenza"... my filters are located behind the glove box. When I get a chance I'll post some pics for those in doubt, lol... cool.

lol this thread is great. Maurice, a lot of people don't know that certain versions such as the one you have and most JDM pros came with the filter. That being said, I wouldn't be able to tell you where you can find one since I've never had to worry about it :D

Thanks, the member called IukekiniProtege gave me a link that seems to have what I need (thanks dude), so I'll order them soon... since I couldn't find them locally I had taken mine out, soaked them overnight in Oxy Clean, hosed them off in the morning and put them in the sun to dry, now they are back in and seem to be working fine...lol...man's gotta do what a man's gotta do right?
