kind of confusing because crutchfield doesnt seem to think any speakers will fit front doors if you remove the bose system..... which doesnt make sense?

surely if I pull out the bose head unit, and the bose front door speakers and the bose rear door speakers, and the bose amp (where-ever it is) I should then be able to install 6x8s in the front and rear doors and then 3.5 inch speakers in left and right dash? (and new kenwood double din nav system)

or not gonna happen? any advice thanks

FYI. The amp is in the trunk under the access panel. Don't know why speakers wouldn't fit though. That sounds weird to me.

cool - I think speaker issue must be a crutchfield software glitch.

I wonder if I could reuse some of the bose amp wiring? power? some of the speaker runs? does it have normal rca line runs to the bose amp or just some sort of proprietary bose wiring?

any tried the crutchfield double din mounting thing for their cx-9? does it actually look good and work?
