does the shift knob just unscrew ?? sorry its kinda of a dumb question its just im currently away from my car so im un able to see for myself....please help

yes. unscrews to the left.

no.. you have to take the motor out to get to the shift knob. sry.

Yeah just unscrew it. Lefty loosey. Might require a slight bit of force if it has never been taken off before.
