Hi,
Recently I've started to hear a moaning sound coming from under the dash when I start the Protege on mornings. This is the Touring model with the 1.8L engine.
The sound is somewhat similar to a problem we had with our 2000 MPV several years ago. That turned out to be the IAC valve.
Has anyone had a similar problem with their Protege?
