I am looking at purchasing an aftermarket grille for my Mazda 3i sedan..I found a few on ebay and am wondering is other people have purchased this and how the quality and fit is

ive seen people with these and they look damn nice, i mean it's all ABS plastic which is what most of the shit in the car is anyway, and at that price you can't beat it! i wish i could find one for a hatchback, i've seen 1 on ebay and it's nearly as expensive as a brand name one.

i just bought one off ebay for my 04 hatchback i'll take pics and post them right out of the box. and as for price i got mine for $71.00 after shipping. the sedans seem to have more parts so i'm sure you can find it cheaper on ebay.

I'm nervous since it is so cheap that it won't fit well...I suppose that is a risk I'm willing to take. after all, I am in college.

Eh it's for the 04-06. I have an 08.

yeah the parts are so cheap it's like its almost too good to be true. but i ordered a front lip eyelids the grill and a spoiler and still didn't bust 500 dollars.

so as soon as i get them all in the mail i will take them to the local body shop and have them color matched (black mica)

i'll take before and after pics for sure of the parts and the car!

has anybody else purchased an aftermarket grill from ebay such as this one?

how is the fit?

ive bought this same grill and it fits great, i got the grill with the smaller mesh, i got mine from a local parts store tho, fits perfectly in the same place as the factory grill and uses the same clips and fasteners, if you want a pic go to my profile and take a look, that grill will only fit 4 door models... 2004-2006

It's nearly impossible to find an aluminum mesh grille for the 07-08. The only listings on eBay are for the CF grilles from CarbonCreations, but they're over 200$ after shipping.

that grill will fit any sedan 04-09...the only diff for the 07-09 is u have to snap off the clips on the bottom left and right of the grill...geeze... i see so many ppl saying the same thing about this grill "not fitting 07 and up" mines an 07, i did this, and have had it on my car for 3 years no problem.

Some people have had fitment issues where the grille doesn't sit flush to the rest of the bumper.

yea i had the same problem at first...then i popped the 2 side clips off, so u just have the clip on the bottom center and it fits fine.. ive told several ppl about this and it worked for them. just a little tip for everyone who wants this grill and thinks it wont fit :)

Yeah. That's good knowledge. Goddamn. This would've been nice to know awhile ago. Hahah.
But I just bought a CF cooling plate off of eBay so the grille will have to wait.
