Okay, it's time to paint these brake calipers.
I've ruled out red because I think red just looks too "boy racer", and I've ruled out gold because I think it looks like I'm pretending I have Brembos.
My main reason for painting the calipers is so they look clean. No sticker or logos will be added.

So, silver or black?
Here's pictures of the car and wheels if that helps:

I say Black would be the obvious choice. Silver would get lost in there. Here's mine

Voted black. Glad to hear you're keeping the stickers off. Besides, if you don't use the right font it looks really bad.

Gold would kinda match your fog lights. I have a gold g2 kit here beside me, putting on my cosmic blue speed 3 behind hyperblack rota svns. :) I say gold or red.

I still like the idea of gold.
Post some pics when your done. I'd love to see how it looks on your car!

I dont get why people paint them black. You can't even see them unless you squint.

Why paint the calipers if you don't wan't people to see them. Mine are blue . . .

I wish they came painted from the factory. I'd rather paint them black so they don't oxidize. Some people don't want the bling-bling factor, and I don't blame them for that.

Oh, I can see them... and they look dirty and crappy despite my efforts to clean them.

Yeah I understand people don't like to be too flashy but why go through the pain of painting them then :).

I voted black, silver is too close to the nasty gray that comes stock. I need to paint mine ASAP, I nearly get sick from looking at that gray color.

i voted black for the same reasons /\/\/\.... but I wouldn't rule out gold quite yet, because if you can get it to look anything like Dizzin's, it looks sweet! Go with whatever makes you happy. I mean, you could paint 'em green for all I care and have an XMAS them......

I also think the mazdaspeed decals add a nice touch, but I know you said you didn't want them.... I personally think the caliper looks plain without em..... good luck man!

For those of you who aren't happy with color selections, you could organize some sort of GB and have G2 color match for you:

http://g2usa.com/colormatch.shtml

I opted for a Tungsten Grey color from their Mustang line, and like the look. It's darker than my paint, but still noticeable in the back behind the wheels.

Tungsten Gray just might be the ticket!
I was hoping they had something that was like gunmetal.

It really looks good. I have a thread in the MS6 section. I didn't pay that much extra for the color too. $45 shipped I think.

Tungsten looks good. Was debating if I should go with that one or the black. I went with black and love it! If it ever starts chipping, I might go with Tungsten just for a change of pace.
