Have there been any factory/dealer ECU reflashes issued for 08 cars?

as far as i know there is just TSB's out there-maybe some of them have a calibration flash or something with it but there's not like reflashes that mazda offers to update our cars or fix the fail built into them. Is something wrong with your car or were you just asking? I'm interested- if there was something like a reflash for the '08's anyone knows of I would be on it.

why dont you try calling mazda and asking?

...because, smart ass, the dealers have been known to not exactly be up-to-date on these cars + my local arse-pilot wants to "plug in my car" to tell me. I am modded and won't let the half-trained monkeys at Mazda touch this car. Reasonable enough explanation?

This is where the ignore button that some forums have comes in very handy. The 3rd and 5th posts would not be visable to me.

Could someone actually help Darth? Bykeryder4life gave it a good try and asked a legitimate question.

Some of us here, including and maybe expecially Darth have been very helpful in troubleshooting and resolving problems of others on the board.

He has an issue that a reflash might help, but can't run the risk of having his warranty voided because of certain mods that would be hard and time consuming to un-install and then re-install after the reflash. I can understand that he might not want to do all of that work if he can't get the reflash.

An upgrade reflash would be a nice neutral way to fix a particular issue without having to have the dealer find something else wrong in order to have it done, IMHO.
