I'm going to buy Modern Warfare 2, which system is best suited for it.

i have played shooters on both PS3 and X360...

I dont think you can base your choice of system by a game that is aviable on both systems.

They both have their plus sides and down sides.

Look at the cost of what is needed or gained by each system

Xbox you pay for online but its much better
Ps3 is free but sucks

Exclusive games for each which do you like better

Blu ray???

I got a PS3 and thinking about getting an xbox becuase more of my freinds are on it

Depends on the games you want imo. XBOX hardware on the 360 sucks. About 50% of the people experience the ROD (ring of death) or other hardware failures needing repair and/or replacement.

XBOX has much better exclusive titles though. If your not after any exclusive titles on either system then I would get the ps3 just because the thing won't die on you down the road :).


I have a 360 and its never needed repair but it does scratch my discs. I used to play rainbow six vegas a lot but the disc becomes unreadable even though I never took it out of the console.

I've played Modern Warfare on both. The 360 is far and away the better choice.

I have neither system, but I'm definitely going to get the CoD MW2 when it comes out. I just can't decide which system to go with. I've heard alot that xbox has the best online community. I'm not really sure what people mean by that though.

I vote to buy a 360. Having both I like the Xbox better.

As somebody who has a 360 and a PS3, I can say that the 360 controller is much better suited to shooter games. Honestly, the PS3 doesn't get much play for anything... I say go for the 360.

i have both systems and have cod4 for both systems(i have friends who play it on different systems) i pretty much only play it on xbox, controller is better and its much more challenging online.

i think u get a higher caliber of player on xbox live too. since xbox has been a fps system form the beginning

Good call on the controllers. The placement of the PS3 analog sticks has me running my thumbs into eachother often.
