Does anybody know where to buy good price Oxygen sensor?,i own a 2000 protege LX.
I have learned that i need 2 and the prices on those are kinda crazy.at least for my wallet :-(
The other question i want to ask is if anybody can tell me where this sensors are located and if it is not too complicated to replace them.
Regards.

You can find out about the prices online if you get an universal it can range from $20-50 depending the brand the one that you have to wire your self. The direct connection ones can go any where from $50-100+...

The installation is pretty easy.. the first one is located in before the first cat in the header, and the second one is after the J pipe before the second cat.

For the different prices search online, autopartswarehouse.com is a good place to start. I my self need to buy an o2 sensor and might get it from there.

Try onlinemazdaparts.com for cheaper prices, or RockAuto.com. Also, should be pretty easy to replace yourself, depending on your mechanical ability.

Try Googling "how to replace O2 sensor". You'll need the two sensors, a ratchet, and a special O2 sensor socket. And, ideally a torque wrench.

Depending on your budget...
Here's one on ebay for $66 shipped (Direct Fit -- before converter/upstream), or make him an offer.

Here's a few to choose for around $85 (looks like it's Direct Fit, but ask them before you buy -- both before and after catalyst)...
