Guys
I have silver 09 touring ed. What do you guys use to clean/polish the ext black trim. In the past I have used amourall on my other cars, but that was a while ago. I do use a small amount to clean the int trim. Lately I haven't been happy with that product and wonder if anything else is out there
thanks

Wash it well with the car soap. Then when I do the tires with a tire foam I spray some on a clean cloth and wipe all the plastic, then do the tires.

Yikes! You must own stock.
Tire foam works great. preserves, protects, and makes plastic and rubber look good without that fake shine.

Thanks cx9 sportsowner. Sounds like a low cost solution to a problem. Any particular foam work best? Also have you tried any on the interior plastics? The Grier stuff is pricey.

Any dark plastic. Make sure to spray the cloth lightly and then wipe the plastic. Because they are designed to keep tires from collecting dust as fast, they help all plastic repel dust. Just be careful around the cloth and headliner.
Any of the foams work well that I've tried. Dollar stores and Big Lots usually have them cheap.
Avoid anything too shiny like "High Gloss" or "Wet Look" .
I also don't have to do it very often because the protection lasts well. In between I use a very lightly damp cloth on the interior before I do the jambs. Helps keep the car smelling new by avoiding too many chemicals.

Looks like a little bit of OCD to me...:) Damn it woman, the glass cleaner goes next to the vinyl dressing not the interior cleaner.

Damn! That's one sano garage brother!! (bowdown)
I wish MY garage looked that clean, but the "other-half" keeps dumping boxes of half filled crap all over the place. A womens catch-all room (bang)

Mother's Back To Black works great. $6.99 and gets the wax residue out while making the black trim look new again.
