What's good y'all. I have a Mazda Protege that I've modified slightly. Now I'm the proud owner of a Mazda3 as well but wit my first ture day of driving I noticed its got a fairly bouncy suspension and if it hits a bump just right the tires slip. Is it normal or might I have a suspension problem? I've been driving wit a modified suspension so long I'm just used to great response.

Did you buy new or used. Either way, you may have a leaky or blown shock. The bouncing could mean that the shock is not slowing down the suspension during extension or compression. the slipping feeling would be because the tire is not making a consistent contact patch with the ground because of the bouncing. If you are still under warranty, go to the dealership. I had that problem and man was it scary. Good luck.
