i think im going to stick with the GT2554r, the only thing is am I going to need to get new flanges?

all the pics I see of the gt25r have a weird 3 bold flange where the hot pipe connects to the turbo.....need some help FAST, ordering tonight.

need it soon cause i just ordered some weapon r pipes from ken, and a lovely steed speed manifold from steed.

I need to know EVERYTHING im going to need when i swap my turbo kit out.

so far I have....
EM
I/C piping
SMIC
Turbo to manifold Gasket
Turbo to DP gasket
DP studs
Oil and coolant
forge bov

btw for you who dont know yet, wal mart sells full synthetic 5w30 oil for 3.50 a qt.

please help

I dont have the money for an AFC, plus im going for reliability, stock internals on 123k

holy shit! thats high milage! i would invest in a gt28rs and run it at low boost. then wen u get a bit more money BUILD UR MOTOR! ur adding on alot of bolt ons for such a high milage motor, has it been replaced before?

no but i baby the thing, head has been rebuilt motor mounts replaced......

and like i said, not going for power, but reliability

i second you should just go bigger in case you decide to build for future. If your spending a 1k on a turbo you might as well run a 28rs at 6lbs of boost as oppposed to the stocker. The motor will be fine as long as you continue with maintenence. What would worry me is that instead of going with a fmic you opted for an upgraded smic. Fmic is much more efficent and well worth the money. 28rs w/ a fmic with exhaust 6lbs is easy and your factory tune is sufficent enough for the combo.

i would suggest u get a wide band so u can moniter ur afr's closely though! this is a more agressive turbo then the stocker!
