anyone have experience with this head unit?

Im thinking of getting a sony CDX-GT130 cuz its cheap and my buddy put one in his old toyota truck and the thing sounds great! I like how you can adjust low-mid-high and whatnot only complaint I can think of is that its really flipping bright at night....can I be dimmed/dimmed with the controls in the car already like the factory radio? Oh and I dont plan on putting a sub in ever, maybe better speakers(if they can sound good without a sub) cuz I dont want to add all that weight or rattle the shit outta the interior.... thanks!!!!

That's the one I have, picked it up because it was cheap. You cannot dim it using the contols of the car, but you can dim the screen via the options on the deck. Sound quality is pretty good, and I havnt had any problems with mine, it's over a year old.
