Installing new OEM sway bar end links tomorrow morning in auto class. are there any tips, tricks to taking them off and putting new ones on? How tight to i make them

Soak it in WD-40 or something like that way... before you do it. Other than that it shouldnt be a problem.

I had to grind all 4 of mine off. And that was after soaking in PB Blaster every day for a week. Hopefully a west coast car won't be so corroded.

No corrosion at all. the rubber pieces inside were non existant. It took me 2 hours in atuo class to get 1 endlink replaced. Now that i have the technique down I shold be able to crank the other one out much faster. Thanks for the tips guys! It definatly helps when im at school and have endless tools and lifts to choose from.

+1. I know at the dealership near my house, they don't even try to remove the old endlinks manually - just grind 'em off and be done with it. Rust belt living :)
