Ok, so I read about the home depot lip being installed on the Mazda 3s and figured I give it a try on my P5. I like the outcome. So for all you guys curious about how it would look, here you go. I've included before and after pics. Tell me what you think.

Double sided tape, some bolts/washers/nuts
and Garage weather stripping.
and it should be pretty explanatory there.

I still have to get one. Only problem is they are not anywhere to be found in Arizona , I even checked all over New Mexico while I was there for 3 months. Guess ill have to order online. This is the best lip IMO , MSP is nice but u lose fogs. I hate all the others ive seen.

Looks nice. I would consider it if my car didn't already scrape on my driveway.

Haha, touche! What Home Depot did you get yours at? All the HDs and Lowes I'm looking up in DFW say they aren't available.

+1 to a great mod on the cheap side. I just installed my Home Depot lip (actually it was a Lowes lip- sounds better too) this past weekend. Took a while to install it correctly, and after a few rolls of two sided 3M tape and 10-15 self tapping screws, it looks like a professional lip. On my way home from work I passed by a '04 WRX with the same exact HD lip on his bumper. Seems to be a super common mod for alot of car enthusiasts.

Someone should do a how-to for this stuff. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it look that good!
Is that the same as this http://rona.ca/shop/~garage-door-weatherstripping-kit-r.c.r.-360316_!garage-door_shop

Some guy did a how to for an MS6... It's not that hard really. I wouldn't even use self tapping screws really... just that uber tough red 3M double sided tape. MAYBE just two of those screws at the ends of the HD lip to keep it from peeling.

just installed this

i like it, just worried about how it will look driving with wind resistance

IMHO self tapping screws are needed. The 3M does a good job of holding it on, but if you happen to scrape your bumper on a curb (or a snow bank in the winter), the odds are the lip wouldn't hold up. If you're using self tapping screws w/ a washer on them (like I did), make sure the screw/washer isn't mounted too close to the front of the lip or else it will make the front of the lip bulge and look terrible.
