You can get it powdercoated as long as its a high temp powder. Most likely its going to be a flat textured black. It will either look cool or really dirty 247.Good luck

Sorry to thread jack, but I'd like to thank you guys for cancelling out corksport and turboxs TBE's off my list.. What's one of the more quiter TBE out there, without any silencers of course? How's CPE?
EDIT*
Just watched a couple youtube videos.. CP-E TBE sounds perfect..

sand it down yourself and spray that bitch with highheat. cheapest way to do it, you dont have to worry and the heat and the pc, plus i bet you wont notice the diff between the two on an exhaust because its going to be under your car. as said before its going to get dirty anyway....i would see why you would pc rims or something under the motor so it looks tight and clean as hell....but under the car? my 2c. i want to see it when your done either way

No not the whole cat back haha just the very back section like near the exhaust tip. I'm kinda iffy on it though cuz with the car bein so loud and the exhaust bein painted black people might just think i sawed off the muffler which i don't want lol i'm up in the air on this one

A lot of it comes down to the catback... RB is quiet at low speeds and idle and opens up at higher RPM. Greddy is pretty quiet as well, so is the CP-E with the muffler and resonator. You will also notice a difference in running catless vs. highflow cat. TurboXS and CS downpipe/racepipes are both catless set ups. Hence, more noise.
I think the noise you get from a performance exhaust on this type of car is something that just comes with the territory. It is an obnoxious little turbo 4 banger... it's not meant to be quiet!
