Has anyone done this? I was looking at replacing mine and was wondering if the Miata rad will fit the MSP.

I don't think it would be that easy to make it fit, the coolant hoses would need to be modified to reach the openings on the radiator, since they are the opposite of what a Protege/MSP radiator is, you'd be running the hoses over the exhaust mani and across the exhaust to get to them.

Miata radiator (and yes, I know it's not OEM, it does have the same coolant hose locations)

Why don't you just buy a p5 radiator? If you dont utilize your side mount

or buy the CS full size radiator from PG if you don't use the side mount like big lou said.
