Side markers

Hey guys, I know our side markers aren't made to just replace bulbs.... but I really need to replace the orange color bulb to yellow. Has anyone had these apart yet? Can I maybe cook the side marker and peel it apart like the headlights? I will take any opinions or suggestions. End result has to be a yellow bulb. You will all see why in the future.

don't think you can bake them apart....it will probably just be easier to buy clear or smoked side markers cause those have the sockets that can make changing bulbs easy.

Yes, I tried, carefully.
it is not practical
the lens will crack before you get it off

I ebayed a smoke sidemarker for an audi, the fit was DIY, but well within most peoples ability

the side markers pop right out of the fender you just have to pull on one side of them...just take it slow and be carefull. Once you have it off the fender the bulbs come right out of the housing. I took mine off and Night Shaded them.

yea i used VHT the other day too.. it was a great way to spend $13

Thanks guys... so the bulb can be taken out and replaced? Wait till you guys see what I`m working on, it's something different.......(hump)

I didn't like the fact that you couldn't change the actual bulbs in the sidemarker so I have Evo sidemarkers on my car with LED bulbs.(wiggle)

dabears2k has smoked sidemarkers that allows you be able to change bulbs....these are the sidemarkers that i have and i used the amber bulbs they provided, they also provided some blue/white bulbs
