wheel spray paint

Hey anyone know any good gold spray paint? The only kind i could find is dutchboy brand at sears and it sucks. For some reason when i spray it leaves like powder residue instead of going on smooth. Found a site that sells BBS gold color wheel paint but is like 15 buks a can which is crazy i think cause i prob need at least 4 cans.

i got my rustoleom wheel paint from autozone, i think they make a gold one too

Duplicolor makes gold and chrome rattlecan. Should be able to find that at an auto parts store too.

Make sure you do a lot of surface prep... sand off the clearcoat, prime the bare metal well, and sand meticulously between coats.

Gold is a color that could look good if done right, but like absolute crap if done half-assed.

I use rustoleum enamel, doesn't chip away as easily as other paints

Duplicolor makes specific wheel paint and clear. I just sprayed mine with the graphite. There are some pics in the last few pages of the "show me your rx8 wheels" thread on the other forum.
