A/C Delete?

im wondering if anyone has done an a/c delete on their 2.0 protege. what belt number did you use and did the protege ever come without a/c?

i just did this to my 02 P5. you can go to any auto parts store and ask them for the non a/c belt and its like $13.

i removed the entire a/c system and relocated the engine fuse box into the condensor box behind the glove box.

with all the lines, condensor, pump and canisters... holy crap what a HUGE weight reduction. quite easy to do too. i say go for it and you will be super happy.
