Gauge Cluster swap questions

I have a 2000 dx 5 speed, and the gauge cluster does not have a tach. Its not a big deal, but it would be nice to have. I did some research on the clusters and it seems if your car does not have keyless you need to get a cluster without keyless. Some places say it doesn't matter. Just looking for some clairification. Thanks.

I got a problem with a cluster too, i havce a 99 protege DX, and i swapped the cluster to a 01 protege (not sure wat model), and eveything works fine except the heat gauge is always full as soon as i turn the key on...why would it just go full?
