A/C kicking on and off.

Hey there, i have a 03 MSP Spicy Orange. Lately i have noticed my a/c, when at a standstill will engage and disengage repeatebly. And it is enough to make hesitation when im driving at low speeds like there is a large load on the engine. And also lately either b/c its too effin hot in FL or theres something wrong with my a/c, it only seems to cool well when driving at a constant speed. Any ideas? Mods are injen cai, greddy cat-back exhaust, spring trick on the wg(think spring is stretched b/c im back to 6ish lbs boost), have a boost gauge also. My vacuum is reading about 18 when idle. If you need any other info let me know.

You probably have refrigerant leak. I would take it in to get the whole system looked over. And as a A/C tech I know to find leaks is a pain in the butt. But most likely its just a loose fitting. Wut you hear cycling on and off is your a/c compressor . Although it is cycling on and off I would not use it untill you get it looked at because you could damage the compressor, Which is not cheap (unless found at a junk yard).
