i just hit 75,000 miles in my P5. Was wondering what kind of servicing to do to it? what would the dealership do if i was stupid enough to take it to them?

No need for new timing belt, or water pump til 100k. Other belts are probably fine too. Thermostat, plugs, wire and coil packs and the pcv valve are all good suggestions. Should run you well under 100 bucks and they're all very easy to change out by yourself.

I'm going to do a transmission service while I'm at it. Redline MT-90 is the stuff to get right? (i have a manual)

If you have your car smogged, its emissions typically tell you alot about the condition of the spark plugs. The belts and hoses should be looked at, but keep in mind that when you do have the timing belt changed, that's typically a good time to change out anything that has to come off, anyway.

I would also do a turkey-baster power steering and clutch fluid swap. How old is your antifreeze? If you have it drained and refilled, you might consider using the 5-year stuff.

yea id wait on the water pump till at least 100k...mine just went at 115k and my plug wires just went out at 120k... I would at least do all fluids at 75k trans and coolant for sure while your doin coolant do the thermostat for $15 the coolants already drained out and its and easy one to do...its kinda funny I was just at the auto parts store gettin struts for all 4 wheels and the sign said to change em every 50k miles...yea right im at 120k and just now replacing em for the first time....every 50k gets kinda expensive...doin all the labor myself still cost 400 bucks...oh and were can you find plugs wires and a coil pack for $100? my wires and plugs were $50 and I think the coil was like $200 list?
