Ok what is the deal??? Last night i got on my car in 1st gear and smacked 2nd and noticed that the dreadful turkey is back!!!! I have the new hks SSQV bov on my car and i thought its suppose to adjust itself!!! Its been on my car for the past 2 months and i havent had any problems!!!! Please someone help??? I dont know if its just stuck open or what but the car is still getting boost!!!
Also noticed that my car is idling really badly, worse than ever before!!! I originally thought i need new sparkplugs and i changed them and its gottin worse the last week or so!!! Me and a friend checked it on the obd2 sensor and its reading a misfire code!!! Help with this also would be nice!!! Thanks guys(dunno)

None of my lines have came off my bov.. I dont have a boost/vac gauge so i have no idea what its doin??? I checked all the lines that run to my bov and none of them are cracked or leaking!! I dont know if maybe since my bov is t'ed into my wga and my throttle that maybe my wga is bad and its causing my bov not to work!!! Like i said i have no idea whats goin on??? IT SUCKS THOUGH

Get a Boost/Vac gauge and it will easly tell you if its a Vac leak, if its not a Vac leak then its he BOV itself.

Def get a boost gauge. I'd recommend connecting hose to it's own independent source just to rule out vac line issues. I moved my cruise control to vac block and moved bov hose to the cruise control line on the intake manifold.
Do you have the V2 or V3 of the SSQV?

my guess is that its the v2 seeing that he said he has had it on for 2 months and the v3 hasnt been available for that long!

The misfire issue may be a bad coil

could be a vac leak from the source to the bov. very common in those old brittle line. even a little leak wouldnt pull your bov open all the way and keep in mind unless you've relocated the bov line that this is also your wastegate source and if its not opening bov then its probably doing even less with the wastegate. you NEED a boost guage haha go to checker and get a cheap one

Me and a friend figured out last nite that the wga is goin bad, and we think that is whats causing my bov to not work since they r both t-ed into the same source.. So i will be buyin a new wga tom. ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Before replacing your bov, i'd run the bov line to it's own source first. If it works you can move it back or whatever. But I'd try it's own dedicated line just to see what's up with bov. I have the V3 and love it.
Did you test wastegate by blowing into it?
EDIT: You get boost gauge yet?
