i have allready searched the threads on this and cant find any info but has anyone rebuilt the stock t25 turbocharger on the msp mine has been leaking oil since i bought the car and i was wondering if it is possible to takeoff the turbo and replace all the seals on it? according to the service manager at mazda in calgary you cant rebuild the turbo and i should just buy a new one if it is leaking oil what do u all think?

The stock turbo can't be rebuilt but you can get a new center cartridge (CHRA) and use your comp and exh housing.

spend a nickle and a dime more and buy a new one w/ warranty

yeah i saw the center cartridge on atp turbo but i was just hopeing that i could just replace a few seals cuz it still spools just has a leak and i was thinking it might just be the oil cooler line that is leaking but i guess i probabley should just get a new one eventually thanks for the replys

This turbo cannot be rebuilt or have the seals changed. You need to buy a new one or the CHRA. Or if someone has a good used turbo.

has anyone ever replaced the elbow on the oil cooler line to the turbo is this a common part where the oil woiuld leak from my trubo? cuz maybe the turbo is fine and its just the oil line leaking mazda says 126.00 cuz i have to buy the line puls the elbow and if i add hardpipes to my intercooler will it put more stress on the turbo?
