09 Mazda 5 -- Rear bumper guard

Hello,

We have had the rear bumper guard replaced twice from the dealer. Had the car for about 3 weeks........getting frustrated. Has anyone had a problem with the factory bumper guard lifting at the edges??? If so any ideas on how to solve this problem or recommend an aftermarket replacement???

Sounds like who ever applied the bumper step plate did not use the rubbing alcohol....jmo or they are touching he double sided tape with there fingers..

I installed mine myself and have no problems. I powerspray it all the time.

I too installed mine myself, cleaned the area with alcohol pad supplied and carefully applied the tape. After two months, the outer edges are starting to lift. My giant dog uses the plate for traction in and out of the back, so I will re-apply tape when necessary. NBD.
