CP-e SRI (AMSOIL filter)/PG TIP, blue spring no shims -- surprised by lack of ping. I think I'll try the video again a little closer....

go to the yellow spring, no shim.

have you tried it under load, as in actual driving and flooring it in gear? that should give it a little more pressure than just revving in neutral

I've posted about it a few times but I have no ping either.

I've tried it under load and still get no discernible ping.

I swapped out to the yellow and lo and behold ping-a-rama -- it seems to run a little smoother too. It guess the blue spring is too stiff for my mods (SRI/TIP). I may experiment a little with shims; I know I've seen the question so excuse me for asking again; is it shim, spring, cap or spring, shim, cap?

its shim spring cap,switched to yellow with 1 shim still no ping....maybe i just cant hear it cause of the CAI

Gracias. I can definitely hear mine with a SRI. I may experiment with a shim or two -- but it feels really good the way that it is so I may not screw with it any more.

I think mine performs very well and pings all over the place with a blue spring and one shim... Maybe because your springs are brand new and really stiff it takes a little while to break in. I would throw the blue back in there with a shim or two and just let it break in a bit. I got mine used so that might explain why mine pings with the same mods you have.
