Sold my Civic today, and bought this 02' Mazda Protege5 for $5100 out the door, 121k miles on it. 5 speed, power everything, sunroof, the works!

Not really sure yet, I'm pretty satisfied with the braking and handling for now, but first I would like to upgrade the sound system in this and go from there. I'm also considering the MP3 ECU since I've been hearing awesome things about it.
Also, anyone know where the clutch fluid reservoir is located? I looked all around the engine bay and couldn't find that, or the bleed valve. My clutch is making a whining sound right before it touches the floor and I wanted to bleed it out and put new fluid in there.

Welcome to club Yellow! Some P5 wisdom I gathered since I bought mine...
Check the engine mounts first. The rubber in my front mount was completely ripped through when I got my car.(easy fix)
Get a nice short throw shifter & new bushings. You will love it every time you shift.
At 121k you should find out if the timing belt/waterpump was done as well......
and paint that rear valance black!!

BTW .. the clutch & brake use a common reservoir. This manual comes in handy.

Thanks a bunch Raser. I actually plan on painting both the rear valence and the key trim gloss black.

Not the keyhole, the trim that's right above the license plate.
Anyways, went crazy with the D40X today so here are some actual good pics of my car:
