Seat Belt

Anyone ever had a front drivers seat belt buckle break? Mine did, then I made it worse trying to salvage it. Never actually had to replace a buckle, is it hard to do on this car? Looks like you have to take the seat out, and I will probaly have to buy a special socket I assume. Thought I'd ask before I start ripping apart my interior.. Also, I haven't been able to even locate a new buckle. Anyone know where I might get one?

my seat buckle light flickers on and off sometimes and i thought of replacing it so i dont have to see the cel light or lets call it the csbl ha..

you can either take the seat out of the car or remove the center console... you'll need to remove the side panel on the seat to get to the buckle... it should be a 14mm bolt

^yep. I pulled mine to install an amp under the seat(and then re-installed).

Check the warranty - i know emissions and i 'thought' mandated safety equipment had a longer period (100K miles kinda')...

Worth checking into...
