So on Thursday, me and some friends were driving to Cedar Point in my MSP when getting off of the turnpike my power steering decided it wasn't going to work. Suprised the hell out of me because I was taking the off ramp at about 55. Lucky I didn't go off road. So I pulled over after I paid the toll and noticed the whole belt was just gone. Shreads of rubber all over the place. Now I admit the last belt I blew was my fault. It was squeakin and said Oh I'll tighten it tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and the belt shreaded while going down the highway. This time it was the water pump and alternator pulley. I got lucky this time. It was just the power steering and A/C pulley. No squeeking or throbbing at all though. Thinking something flew up and hit it and snapped it in half. :( No warning nothing. Oh well nothing to replace a 5min belt.
So I went to put on the new belt and looked at the other belt and noticed that it looked like it got hit by the broken one that flew off. Has teeth missing all in one spot (Gatorback Belt) So I'm going to change that belt as well just as a percaution. Should only take like 15 min anway. Fun Stuff.
