tint or no tint?

i have a question do you guys prefer to have tint or no tint?

i really like no tint better it seems cleaner and i like people to see in

what do you guys think and why ?

I am super happy with my 20% all around. I haven't had any problems with the law since I got it (that dark is illegal in WI). It comes in handy when you have an MP3 player always in there along with some gadgets, people can't seen them that easily.

I like tint because it keeps the interior cool, and keeps people from seeing what I'm doing lol. I also believe it makes most cars better looking, especially Mazdaspeed3s. I didn't tint my light blue XJR because I wanted people to see my cream leather though.

soo im guessing it dpeneds on the car? well if you lok in most import magazines you see alot of the cars in there have no tint and it looks clean as shit..

I aslo like the no tint. I does makes the car look cleaner. But I might go tint with a light shade though. Some where around in the 30's% or so.

i tinted mine for the following reasons: privacy, interior protection (from UV rays), i get headaches from bright natural light, protection from break-ins (the tint prevents shattering much like the windshield does so it's harder to get into), and i think it looks nicer

that in mind i would also say that i have 5% all around (no eyebrow), and i would not reccommend it to anyone who either drives at night or lives in a town that gets much of its revenue on police checkpoints that you drive through all the time.

(knock on wood) i have yet to get a ticket for window tint on this or any other car i've had illegal tint on. but i also don't bring a lot of attention to myself whilst driving and i think around here that would be more of a secondary ticket item, like they'd rather pull you over for speeding then give you a tint ticket instead of just pull you over for tints.

and illegal. lol at least it is in KS, we can't go lower than 35% but I have 20 in the back wiindshield, 30 on all the windows and 30 on the top part of the windshield. and it definatly makes the car look better. Bur I have a black mica so.

I didn't like 20% all the way around... driving at night I would have to roll my window down to see. an thats not a good idea in the KS winter...

20% around plus visor. If you cant see with 20%, you shouldnt be driving at night then.

I tinted the windows on my 08 mica black S3. To me looks much better and of course it does help keep the interior heat down. Bottom line, personal choice.

20% is perfect, no probs with the law, no break ins. try grabbing that shift knob with no tint in the summer(freak)

I think tint makes it look way cleaner. But just cause you tint it doesnt mean it has to be pitch black. I have 20% and even sometimes that looks light to me. However, 35% still makes the car look cleaner than stock
