i have piaa bulbs and they are yellow but its cheaper to get the yellow tint over your lights but it looks cleaner with the bulbs

I already have the Lamin-X yellow covers on. Luminics bulbs just came in the mail.
Maybe I"ll try both.

Yellow bulbs will only be yellow when they're on. Duh. If you want the look during the day you'll need the overlays. I'm not sure how it would look with OEM bulbs and just the overlays.

Good of you to point that out.
My question pertains to the light emitted from the fog lights during use.

In that case my light color didn't change when I went from bulbs to bulbs+overlays.

i did the same for my civic (yellow overlay with yellow bulbs), but the lamin-x overlay kept melting after pro-longed use as the halogen bulbs get very hot.

the only way i got around it was to have the HID fogs w/ the overlay (since they don't run as hot as halogen), but looking at it doesn't look yellow, but it projects yellow good.

I found overlays on ebay for like five bucks shipped. Been on for six months with no probs. Don't have to cut perfect, the front clip hides the outside edges anyway.

Back in the day I had yellow film on the foglights of my MR2 and then put in 3K HID's in ther foglights. This is how they looked as you turned them on and then as they warmed up

im on 3k fogs and glad i went with those over overlays, looks really good. im not really into the just YELLOW of the fogs with overlays, but the output looks great with HIDs. matched with some 6k mains they are seriously bright as hell.
