Anybody have trouble breaking the bottom alternator bolt loose to change belts, can't get a breaker bar in there not enough room?Tips from the experienced, if there are any.

I used a torch and a 50lb sledge hammer to get that bitch bolt.

Funny shit man, that bolt was a bitch till I pulled the crossmember and got the room to get the 1/2" drive in there.

for future reference...remove the cruise control module too...it gives u a bit more room for leverage..helps if you have skinny arms..but u can do it from above..it's a real bitch but can be done without having to get under the vehicle

Thanks bud, all you need to do is pull the 4 bolts off the cross member and you have enough room.

I'm starting to wonder, but I'm in way too deep to turn back.I think all the times I've sprayed the engine compartment made these bolts do some odd shit.
