Valve Stem Seals

I'm suspecting that Valve Stem Seals are gone in my FS-DE and I was just wondering anyone has ever changed the seals without taking off the cylinder head in this motor?

my 99 zm de has HELLA worm seals, it puffs hard until it warms up..im sure it has worn guides too...i think im just going to push it off a cliff
