View Full Version : wtf??!! my radio just died.

07' MS3. Radio was working fine. I shut off the car for a few minutes while I ran inside. Come back out, start it up and nothing.

Any ideas before I take it to my Mazda dealer?

fuse....? That crossed my mind and I'll check it but the radio lights still come on.

Now it's working again!! I started up the car and the radio works fine. Weird! Earlier today when it didn't work, I even pulled over, turned off the car and restarted it. The radio refused to work. Now it works. Go figure.

Sounds like it may be a loose connector (ground, probably). What happens if you bump your hand on the dash/console around the radio?

Hmmm.....you may have a point. Right before I shut off the car and lost the radio, I bumped over a pothole. That may have caused a wire to come loose.
