Well i searched and really couldn't find what i was looking for. I have a '03 Protege ES and got some NGK ZFR5F-11 plugs to replace my current ones. What really do i need to know about changing them? Unscrew the things on top of the plugs then the caps on the wires should pull off? Is it more complicated then this? How easily will the caps on the plugs come off?

Its really simple. You just unscrew the bolts that hold the coilpacks and wires on the valve cover, take each of them out, and unscrew the old plugs, put new ones in. A couple things though. Deep socket is necessary or spark plug socket. Make sure you use dielectric grease on the new plugs. Other than that, it's a 10 minute job. Let me know if you have any other questions.

You said dielectric grease. What is that? I'm guessing i can get it from Pepboys. Where does it go and what is the purpose?

Yup it's like 5 bucks. It goes on the tops of the spark plugs and in a couple other parts. Spark plug boxes usually show you where to put it and the directions on the tube itself do too. It's basically there to prevent the spark plug from getting stuck to the boot as well as to assure a perfect contact.

One last thing. I heard that the tops are difficult to get off the plugs. Should i be able to get them with my hands or will i need something to grab them with?

You mean getting the boot off the plug when you're pulling it out? It can be difficult so you just gotta keep pulling on it by the rubber base (NEVER the wire). If dielectric grease was used last time the plugs were changed, it should be easier to pull off.

I recomend putting anti-seize on the threads of the plug. It will make it easier not to mess up the threads.
