But sadly the motor blew, the wastegate hose came off and it ate 24psi then popped 2 weeks later:

So i got offered a trade, for the 02 P5...

Deal was he came up with a BP, we swapped it into my GT and off it goes..
So it was done

It needs some work, the CF tails are garbage, and the headlights take in some moisture

If anyone has stock tail and headlights that would be great!

The paint itself is nice, being hunter green up front with a rainbow metallic then fading into black midway thru the front doors. The Decals/striping, unfortunately are painted, so those have to go! But otherwise its clean, it runs great!

After the scort.... the P5 feels miserably slow lol boost is like crack, its an addiction

I test drove a Mazdaspeed Protege last week and i'm hooked on boost as well

Even the stock Mazdaspeed Protege on boost is only good for 140hp

There is a guy on another forum that has an absolutely insane pro5 build.

The stock MSP has 170HP and 160ft/lbs of torque.

If you got money, anything can be fast. Take mazdaspeed2oo35 for instance. His pro is insane. How much money has he sunk into it? Enough to buy like 10 stock msps.

im getting a lil upset now, Me and my boys went to the track last weekend and they were bragging about their 15 second runs.... now i wish i had the escort to show them what 13.8 will do to em

Yeah i gotta say i do love the stock suspension... the exit i take to get home is a long sharp curve.... I ate it last night @ 55mph before the crappy tires started squealin... yet my boy did it in his EP3 that has raceland coilovers sittin real low, and the ass end came out @ 50 lmao

put some good tires on there and you'll be AMAZED at the difference in the corners with just the stock suspension.

There's nothin wrong with those tires being it isn't a track car with enough power to push them too far. Have run a coupla sets of those on mine & got about 40k out of them & no hydroplaning even when thin on tread. They hold up in corners & are comfortable for daily driving. Have never heard mine squeal but have felt the edge of their usefulness. Track time would be another story tho. Looks like host of other things to be done before gettin to the tires on it. Welcome aboard. Peel them burnt fog light lens covers off, lol.

that nexen N3000 is on the rear for now, just because its a 205/45/16 while the rest are 205/55... I need to find time to dismount/mount the other 205/55

and yea the yellow fog overlays are gone
