Might buy a Protege

I'm new to the site and im thinkin about sellin my honda and getting a protege. But, i have a question...
How hard is it to swap in a klde into a Protege?
i have a klde in great running shape and i wanna drop it into a protege

Well it has been done. It u search the forums there was a guy who had a klze in a protege. I would do the klze instead of klde.....200 instead of 160ish bhp...

if you had the engine already... yeah the ZE makes more power, but the DE has USDM parts available, and is a lot more turbo friendly (or nitrous friendly for that matter)...

agreed with wagonbacker. Don't know what you did with the honda or if you're a NA fan or turbo fan (no pun intended), but KLZE is much less boost friendly than the KLDE. Luckily, a couple guys have done the swap recently on the other forum and have ironed out almost every single bug including wiring. It's a pretty big project and may be just a bit more complicated than the honda/acura swaps but it's doable and it has potential to be a monster.
