I dont know if it was here or on another forum, but someone had the idea to make a small mazdaspeed sticker for the people with an aftermarket HU to cover the blank left side of the display since for most of us its nothing but a red screen. Does anyone know how or know of someone that is able to make a sticker like that?

its very easy and any local sign/graphics shop will be able to do this for you.

I stopped by a local sign shop and they said that they would do it, but if it doesnt turn out the way i want Ill PM you. Thanks for the interest though! I asked them to make a one inch by four inch clear vinyl with the MAZDASPEED logo outlined in black. like this...

ah, so they are doing a 'printed' decal.. not cut vinyl. let me know how it turns out!

4" x 1" would run ~ $1.50 from me (rockon) (just in case)

couldn't you get some transparent film (like the kind teachers would use on the overhead projector) and then just run it through your printer to get the logo on it, then cut it out and use some clear-drying glue? just a thought

i like it a lot. i just don't like the black line that goes through it. there's no way of getting rid of that, i'm assuming.

Looks very nice. If I ever replace my stock Hu, I'd definitely get one like that.

yeah a lot of these sign shops have minimum orders. Just try another one.
