Gas gauge Oscillating

well ever since i swapped in the new tranny ive noticed the gas gauge moves all the time...sometimes only like a 1/8 but it does it constantly, and when it gets low it will do it like a whole 1/4 tank...anyone have any ideas? i have no speedo gear but i doubt that would affect it

Did you do any hacking/splicing at the ECU or gauge cluster wires? I could see where a loose/intermittent connection in the gas gauge sender wire causing the gauge to fluctuate.

I'm assuming since you mentioned not having a speedo gear in your new tranny, that you might've had to do some wiring trickery...
