Hey, I did a bit of searching but didn't see anything that directly addressed this. I just got a cheapo short ram intake from Bomz and have an install question. The stock intake has a mount built into the tubing closest to the intake manifold for some wires. Where should i place/mount said wires when I put in the new intake?
Thanks

the wires that you are talking about and if i am right is the cruise control system. i just tucked it under one of the adjustable metal bands that connect the hoses together. havent had any trouble yet with this. i hused my cruise control on a road trip this weekend with no problem. im sure that someone else has come up with a better solution to this problem than mine

I took a thin strip of metal, drilled a hole in it, then bent it. Attached it with a hose clamp to the intake piping and mounted the cruise control to that. If anyone really wants to see I could take a picture.

Thanks for the replies, i think Ill try rigging up a mount or something I just don't want it dangling around. BTW, bucksatan if you don't mind taking a pic i'd appreciate it, but i think i get what your saying.

Snapped a couple of pictures, hope they help.
It might look a little ghetto rigged, but it has held up well for about 2 years. I don't know if I have even checked the tightness of the hose clamp at this point.

Glad to help. As you can see, it is a pretty easy thing to do. I actually used the bit I had to trim off the ractive intake to make the bracket.
